Hello my name is Osayame Oghogho Uzamere. I am 19 years old & i am third year accounting student at The State University of New York at Plattsburgh. I was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Queens, NY. In my spare time, I sew/fashion design & I am heavily involved in my church’s choir. I always say, Nigeria is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. In all that I did I find inspiration in the country I call home, Nigeria. This is why being Mr. Nigerian independence means so much to me. It is not all about being able to say that I won. It is more about what I will now be able to do more for my country, who has done so much for me, subconsciously. Nigeria lives in me, God bless Nigeria.
Hey! My name is Stephen Oluwamayowa Ojo I am 19 years old and I was born in Lagos, Nigeria but my family is from Ekiti. I consider myself a hyperactive person I am interested in a lot of sports- soccer, track, basketball, table tennis and volleyball. I also play instruments- drums sets and the talking drum.I am in a dance group called the A.V.O ( Africa’s Very Own ) Boys. Dance is my favorite hobby of all because when I dance, I feel alive and on top of everything dance is something I have full control of. I was born and raise in Mile 2 estates, where I lived with my 3 sisters and aunty, I later realized that there are too many girls in this house so I moved to my aunty where I was able to toughen up. I As an Nigerian man I believe its my due diligence to give back to Africa the land that raised me and instilled in me morals that seem near innate. Winning this pageant will make that vision a reality.
My name is Zainab Abisola Shittu and I am 21 years old. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I am currently a senior at SUNY Old Westbury studying Public health and Social Work. I find joy in working with children and making them happy. I always see it as my duty to ensure that children around me are being treated well, enjoying their lives, and educating them on becoming great individuals. My favorite hobbies are dancing and hair styling. I am also the current president of my organization on campus called Glamazon; a fashion based club that focuses on educating people about fashion in different cultures as well as the business world.

I am a very outgoing person; I like to have fun and dance. My ambition is to be a successful strong woman so that I would be able to inspire people and promote education amongst the youth. My goal after this pageant is to create a central library in Nigeria in order to be able to promote vocational education for the teen.

My name is Abiola Temiloluwa Oladitan and I am a 20-year-old God fearing Nigerian that was born and raised here in NYC. Even though I wasn’t born in Nigeria, I have never shied away from knowing and learning about my culture. As the oldest of four and owner of the Sis Ekos Dance Team, I believe I contain many characteristics of being a great leader. I am currently pursing a career in pharmacy at The University at Buffalo.
